Azores Airlines Flights to Madeira
Azores Airlines, the commercial arm of the Azorean SATA Group, links Portugal's two autonomous archipelagos. It flies Funchal–Ponta Delgada (around 14 weekly) and, new for 2026, a Funchal–Terceira service reported from 7 May 2026. Its former nonstop Funchal transatlantic flights to New York-JFK, Boston and Toronto were dropped around January 2025 and now route one-stop via Ponta Delgada — they are no longer bookable as nonstops from Madeira. Frequencies are seasonal; verify before booking.
