Flights to Madeira from Portugal
Portugal is Madeira's domestic market and its busiest by far. TAP Air Portugal, easyJet and Ryanair fly multiple times daily to Lisbon (the single busiest route) and Porto, and TAP also serves Faro. Binter Canarias operates the inter-island Funchal–Porto Santo lifeline — at roughly 15 minutes airborne, one of the shortest scheduled flights in Europe, though not the world's shortest (that is Scotland's Westray–Papa Westray). Azores Airlines links Funchal to the Azores at Ponta Delgada and, new for 2026, Terceira.
